| Ferrari’s Leclerc on Italian Grand Prix pole

Monza – Charles Leclerc secured pole for Ferrari’s home Italian Grand Prix with Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes alongside on the front row after qualifying at Monza on Saturday.

The third qualifying session was interrupted after Kimi Raikkonen crashed his Alfa Romeo, leading to a farcical situation with nine of the top 10 drivers missing the cut off time for their last flying lap.

Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) occupy the second row for Sunday’s race with Leclerc seeking to follow up his debut win last weekend in Belgium.
